My eyes and face became expressionless. With my
friend shaking in horror like this I could assume that my situation was worse
than I thought. Jiro was a fan of
trepidation and was never afraid of anything.
“Umm, just about today, I… I dreamt of him
last night when I was sleeping. What
wrong with having a night mare about a tall guy?
“Oh shi -”
Jiro was right about to swear when one off the staff members of the school
threw Jiro a menacing look.
Rushing
towards me, Jiro clasped his hands to his mouth, and whispered. “This is serious; I have to see you after
school in Gramhaden Woods.”
“Ok,” I
whispered back softly. Upon entering the
school, I walked hastily to my locker, dumped my things down, and ran to class.
I couldn’t help but to feel afraid and
have a feeling, someone or something, was behind me.
“Drag,
what’s up?”
Swaying
around I saw a person cover with many layers of coats. I wondered how he could walk. I barely guessed who the person was until I
saw his eyes. Only Derp had eyes like
those.
“Hey,
Derp?”
The thing
replied, “Yeah, it’s me Derp, who else?”
“Cool,”
I
continue on my long journey to the classroom. The light flashed a bit then went out. People
screamed in fright and the girls hug each other as they produced a more horrid squeak.
“Calm
down kids, nothing to worry about just a power surge. We’ll get it back on as soon we fix the power
box,” announced the principle, Mr. Seed.
He was a middle age man who was bald from his head all over.
Something
wasn’t right though. The lights dimmed
and shut off, yes, but within this darkness was a… essence. There was a feeling of a darker energy. People’s voices seem to become more monotonic
every second on the clock. Voice began
to go in a slower motion, too.
“Perhaps
it’s just me,” I thought.
